Yesterday watched movie "Star Trek 11" (星际旅行 11), really wonderful pictures, especially the spaceships. Human will definitely one day be living outside earth.

Finally the clock is non-stop

前不久买一个clock, 两周内停了3，4次，拿回华人超市去换； 回来又一周，又停两次，怒，拿回去，不要了。

终于花时间去BigW找了一个clock, 贵90 cents, 又一个多星期， 终于non-stop了so far。。。

Newcastle Trip

Newcastle is famous for its nice beach. It took me 3 hours' drive from Sydney. Small city, but peaceful beach, wonderful sea view. Really good for a break from the busy everyday life.

五一 -- 国际劳动节?

The other day, I was being asked whether or not 1st of May - Labor Day is also public holiday in Australia, I said no.  A bit confused, why "International Labor day"?, it seems not really international. As I know in Australia, the Labor Day is the first Monday of October ( http://www.industrialrelations.nsw.gov.au/holidays/).
